There are many ways you can contribute to the success of the Elizabeth River Trail.
Our small staff works tirelessly to manage the programs, maintenance and amenities along the trail. We need lots of help to keep the ERT clean, active and a source of local pride. Please consider becoming a volunteer with us. We have an active Trail Ambassador program that serves as our eyes and ears on the trail looking for maintenance issues as well as helping trail users find their way. We host many events from clean-up days to bike rides, to historical and botanical walks and they all need volunteers to plan and execute.
