Who's Blushing? We Are!
New additions keep popping up in Lambert’s Point and we are so excited to announce the permanent relocation of Upper Blush to the Lambert’s Point Trailhead and Microfarm! This incredible piece of public art joins Prince of Fire to make this green space a real cultural spot.
Speaking of public art, we’ve refreshed the Public Art page of our website and if you haven’t popped into our new HQ we have two incredible art pieces installed there for you to check out.
The forever home for Upper Blush will provide a quiet respite, a chance to soak up some green space, watch the trail roll by, or listen to the ripple of the creek that flows between the tracks and the Trail. Designed to interact with the users, the roof collects rainwater and distributes it through pipes that move as users sway. The ERT Foundation will be adding native plants this fall that will benefit from this fun and functional water catchment system. A big thanks to Norfolk Public Arts for their work on the relocation and collaboration to bring more art to the ERT!
