Building Community, One Conversation at a Time
One of the best parts of the Elizabeth River Trail Foundation’s work is the opportunity to connect with our community. Whether we’re attending neighborhood events, meeting with community partners, or presenting to a club or local organization, every conversation is a chance to share our mission and inspire folks to get involved.
On June 24, our Assistant Director, Kaycee, had the opportunity to speak with members of the Downtown Rotary Club (Companion Club) about the Elizabeth River Trail Foundation. The presentation highlighted the Trail’s impact on our community, exciting projects on the horizon (Lambert’s Point Pedestrian Bridge was a hot topic of conversation), and the many ways that residents, businesses, and organizations of all kinds can support the ERT.
Thank you to the Downtown Rotary Club for the warm welcome and your commitment to making Hampton Roads a stronger, healthier, and more connected community. We always appreciate the opportunity to share our story and connect with others who care deeply about the future of Norfolk.
